Federation president Luis Bedoya took a huge step towards fulfilling one of his promises from back in his electoral campaign.  He started to make the necessary steps in order to play a home game in the city of Medellín.

Medellín is colombia’s second largest city and for the past decade has been one of the venues that averaged the largest number of fans.  the Mayor’s office of the City of Medellín was notified of this and they are committed to having the Atanasio Girardot ready by June when Colombia host Peru for the World Cup Qualifiers. The Federation also mentioned that there need to be some renovations done to the stadium as per FIFA Recommendations.

They will start various projects such as the installation of seats in the 45,000-capacity  venue as well as the relocation of  team benches.

Medellín would become a world Cup qualifying venue for the first time in well over 30 years.

Uh, what was this article about? I know they will be at the stadium.
